Last Saturday we were deeply honoured to participate in the opening ceremonies of the Invictus Games in Vancouver, performing alongside over 350 pipers and drummers in one of the largest massed bands in Canadian history. It was a privilege to support an event that celebrates resilience, strength, and the unwavering spirit of wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women.

To watch the full performance you can search CTV News Invictus Games 2025 opening ceremony, part 2 (the massed band comes out at around the 31 minute mark!). #invictusgames25Image attachmentImage attachment+7Image attachment

What a night! By all accounts our 49th Annual Robbie Burns Supper was a resounding success and it wouldnt have been so without a lot of hard work from some very dedicated people. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to The Broken Whisk Catering, the Thistle & Thorn Dancers and our various sponsors whose support ensures there will be a 50th Burns supper next year! We are also grateful for the hundreds of hours our own members have dedicated to putting on such a fantastic event and of course to you our supporters who really make it all possible.
